This Embery DK in "Stone Hearth" colorway looks so much like aspen or birch bark, and is a joy to knit with this time of year - it's so reminiscent of our Pacific NW fall colors, yet its soft colors reveal cabling extremely well, whereas more vivid colors sometimes hide cables. This is a simple small cowl, gleaned by using the bottom band of a hat pattern - it's a quick knit, the yarn has a beautiful hand, and I love how it simulates the heathered look of a tweed yarn without having to deal with all of those neps!
